Sangkhlaburi

(UNDER)WATERTEMPLE SANGKLABURI

Sangkhlaburi is an area in the north-west of Kanchanaburi, close to Myanmar. The town is right by Khao Laem Reservoir. Backed by fuzzy green hills, the gigantic lake wrapped almost entirely around Sangkhlaburi was formed in the 1980s by the Vajiralongkorn Dam.

You will stay the night here as it is too far to visit Sangkhlaburi in one day. We will take you on a boat ride on the Khao Laem Lake where you will visit the (Under)Watertemple, Jungletemple and the Mon Wood Bridge. Depending on the season and the water level we are able to walk into the Watertemple or only see it from the boat.
